    BUMP

I'm sick of hearing: "We didn't have effort." Sometimes it's not all the coach's fault, but U can't fire all the players. A leadership change is needed.

LMAO - a bump after 11 minutes of the previous post? Are you kidding me?

Don't worry - I have a feeling this thread is ALWAYS going to be around the top of the GARM until Gumby is gone.

    Pretty well sums it up.

Get another coach in for the offense or ship JVG out with the next trade.

What's the use... if Les can afford it fire Grumpy

I am sad as a fan for this season and because I have lost confidence in whoever is making player moves.

I do not understand why we didn't get a point guard.
Try to sign a power forward.

I blame JVG for not playing Boki more.

JJ for Wesley would have been OK.

    Lue for Barry was OK.

My frustration is traceable back to passing on Rashard Lewis with 3 picks ... and it goes all the way to Francis who just does his own thing, ran his own posse and wasn't going to lead this team.

    Yao has limitations

    It is all frustrating.

By the way I believe JVG did appreciate Steve's effort on the court. I do not think he knew what to do with Steve's turnovers and I also think they were in a power struggle from day 1.

Steve F. is a good player as talented at Baron Davis. But I don't think either are going to lead a team to the ring.

    TMac can do it.
TMac, KG, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, that's the short list.

I hope we do something brilliant over the next two seasons so we can win another championship.

I would add LeBron to that list. Not that he will lead his team to a title this year but i wouldnt be surprised if they are contending in the (weak) eastern conference in 2 yrs.

ESPN editorializes that the Rockets are the "Disappointment of the Trimester":

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&id=1954347

    Disappointment of the Trimester

    Houston Rockets

Again, this is a team category, and Houston's problems are the most striking. Detroit is the strongest threat to the Rockets here, because the champs have racked up more excuses than victories so far, but the Tracy McGrady-Yao Ming partnership has been a deadly duo exactly once so far, when T-Mac and Yao combined for 74 points in the recent win over Toronto. Expectations were probably too high in Houston given the Rockets' holes at the point and in the athleticism department, but sub-.500 ball is still unacceptable.

Count me in. Fire JVG. Fire CD.

I'm jumping on board because trading Boki and JJ was one of the worst moves I have ever seen. It was bad any way you look at it. Vengeful, desperate, cruel, and stupid are all words that come to mind. It was a move that a bad franchise would make... LA Clipper bad. Fire some people before we are so screwed even George Steinbrenner can't save us. Our only serious chance for gaining talent is through free agency, and this deal was a major reason for FA's not to come here. It was a message to the league that we screw players.

I always saw the Rockets as winners that may have been losing some games temporarily on their way to another championship, but we look like BONA-FIDE LOSERS this year.

    Fire Gundy is right.

I wonder if Phil Jackson would even consider coaching this team?

Ha Ha. I guess I was emotional. The Bucks game drove me to commit a "premature bumb."

I still watch the games when I get the chance but never with any genuine excitement. It's more of a habit now.

JVG is pathetic but who else can we hire at this point? We're screwed. JJ and Boki was the last straw. I now officially dispise our coach and CD for making one of my biggest passions one of my biggest annoyances.

jvg must go! with jvg, the rockets will never win because yao ming will play up to his potential. his assists have declined each year.

let's bring in eric musselman if not phil jackson. both will use yao and tmac better.

if yao still doesn't play well under a new coach, maybe yao should go, too. a guy this big should get 10 rebounds easily.
