Well guys the end of our year is here. I am praying that we can have a healthy finale, especially for CB. I know there will be more of these posts tomorrow kind of recapping the season but I wanted to get in my 2 cents, along with my hope that everything goes smoothly tonight. What a year- I was one of the Dreamers thinking Championship even before we had Stevie. We acquired Stevie and I was thinking it could be a Championship team for a few years. Unfortunately we never gelled well in the beginning. I remember at the beginning of the year there were different camps- the old schoolers who supported the DIT w/ Dream & Chuck, the new kids who wanted the new offense led by Stevie, and the coaches sucks people who blamed our early season problems on RT as well as Dream & Charles. I know I was truly frustrated at this point in the season. Felt like most were attacking Charles and I didn't like it. Soon after Dream was injured and our offense looked different, Charles tried to run with the kids and it looked good, until his injury. This injury killed me. To be honest I wasn't sure what to do. I had always followed Charles from his Sixer to Suns to Rocket career. It was strange for me to root for a team w/o CB. I adopted Mobley as my new favorite Rocket. Again I picked a Rocket who was under heavy criticism, especially thru January. Even with Dreams return I figured we were out of the playoffs, but I enjoyed everyones enthusiasm for the playoffs. Everyone waited and waited for the old Dream to come back, but he never did. Soon after 2 other camps developed between the folks who wanted the playoffs and others who strived for a good lottery pick. After a while it appeared we were headed for a good pick, but the Rockets got hot at the end (similar to the January run). I've loved the arguments in here this season from CB sucks, to Cat sucks, to Rudy sucks, to move Francis to the 2, to Moochie over Drew, etc. It has been challenging and addicting! Now for the good- We have a future NBA star on our Roster to replace our departed, or soon departed stars. Francis will be great. Mobley stepped up and had a fine 2nd season. Anderson has shown signs of brilliance. I am impressed with KT. I would love to get a 4/5 in the draft but KT is a good NBA PF. Walt has had some amazing shooting nights in the 2nd half. Moochie appears to be our backup PG of the future, I love his enthusiasm. In summary I am honestly disappointed, partly because of our final record and partly because I wanted better for CB. I am happy about our year end winning streak and the progress of Francis, Mobley, Anderson & KT. So thanks guys for a memorable season, and I will talk to you all in the off-season (Tomorrow)!!! For those of you going to the game cheer a little louder for a CB fan stuck in Ohio! ------------------
