    It's a game?......

I thought it was the next Jenna Jameson or Chloe Jones movie! [IMG]

I used to love the Final Fantasy games but I quit liking them when Squaresoft moved to Sony. I just don't like how slow the games move. Ya the cinema parts are rad, but the overall game is just boring to me now.

Yep I've played it and finished it. I personally think it's the best in the series, topping even FFVI (FF3 U.S.). Outstanding ending, great FMV sequences. I still haven't completed some of the sidequests, though.

Band Geek Mobster, I do think that FF8 is slow (in fact the pacing of that game is rather poor, creating some dull moments). I enjoyed FF7 though. You should try FF9....the pace of the game is much faster than FF8 (and to a lesser extent FF7) and aspects of the game reminded me so much of their Super NES FF's.

I guess the factor I use to determine how good a FF game is is the replay factor. FF3 (US) was my favorite game and I played it multiple times b/c it was that enjoyable. I couldn't say the same for the playstation Final Fantasy's. I was dissapointed with the ending of FF7, and I didn't even finish FF8 nor did I care to finish it either.

Thanks for the advice though Cold Hard. Maybe I'll rent #9 and check it out myself. I've been too busy lately to do anything b/c of college, but your suggestion has been noted. [IMG]

    FF9 was damn good.

It wasn't quite as fun as FF4 or FF6 were, but I'd put it ahead of FF7 and FF8.

FF9 is superb in almost every aspect. it is FAR better than ff7 and ff8. i hated ff8. i hated the junction system n draw system. ff7 wasnt bad... they just rushed the last part.. aerith was supposed to live

ff6 (ff3) was the best ever IMO. FF9 is 2nd then FF4 (ff2) havent played the first NES one though. but FF9 is awesome... and the ending is so good.

The first Final Fantasy was on the NES.
