One of my siblings beat the Final Fantasy X video game a year or so ago and the save games are still on my memory card. Is there any way I can start the game up and just view the videos?

I remember a buddy of mine from Japan was able to do this when I first saw the game back in 2001.

I'm craving to see the rest of the videos with out having to play the rest of the game.

I think there was a "theater" in the game that let you buy the movies and music in the game (with gil, not real money of course). I think it was in Luca...can't remember the specifics since it has been so long.

Thanks Cola. I don't even remember that place in the game. I haven't played in a year or two. :( Looks like I might have to do that.

Awesome thanks a lot RC! Too bad the ending video isn't available to "purchase" in the theatre.

To be in Luca though, don't I have to be in the begining of the game? So I won't have money...... or could you travel through those spheres. Ehh....I'll have to check it out again I can't remember.

If the save you have is at the end then you should have the airship and can fly to Luca.

Yeah, as DrLudicrous said, you're able to go back to Luca late in the game, as well as pretty much anywhere else in the game.

As for the ending video, I think I had a save set up where I could load it and be close to the final boss. If you (or your sibling I should say) checked out some of the sidequests, you might have yourself a "powerhouse" team. Whenever I wanted to see the ending, it didn't take very long to beat the boss, and thus, not very long to see the final ending if I ever wanted to watch it again. If that isn't the case, then it might take a lot more effort to see the ending unfortunately.

The ending fights are pretty much a joke anyway since everyone has permanent "Full-Life" cast on them.

I loved the game ending, as bittersweet as it was. I realize that Japan does things differently, but would it KILL SquareEnix to do a happy ending for once? The Final Fantasies, Kingdom Hearts...C'mon guys give someone a smile for once.

That's right. I forgot about that "final boss." The other one right before that final boss is the one that might be a little tough to finish if the party isn't strong enough.

As for the ending, I kind of had the same reaction. I still like it to this day, although at the time, I was still expecting something to pop up out of nowhere and make it a little more of a "happy" ending...never did though. And now that you mention it, it does seem like SE has been staying away from happy endings lately, at least from what I can recall. I tend to like those types of endings in a way, although I understand what you mean. There's going to be like 3 FF games this year though, maybe at least one of them will offer some sort of happiness at the end.

Heh, thanks for the replies. Looks like I'm going to have to attempt to beat the boss. I haven't played in so long I'm going to suck.

Wish someone had it on Youtube like they have the intro video. oh well.
