Which big guy do you prefer and feel would fit in the best with our current roster?

Both come from teams we hate obviously, but I am thinking that Fesenko would be a really nice addition, he's still young and has potential...

Damp on the other hand could be somewhat of a Deke. Defense and Garbage points and blocks...

Without any doubt it must be Fesenko!!!!!!!!!!!
Dampier an old Dallas Horse who has been or never was!
Fresenko taller, heavier, younger, a student who could be developed to be a major part of a team who plays around the Big Man's game. :p

Fesenko is soft and has yet to really demonstrate NBA ability; Kosta Koufos was getting more minutes on a Jazz team that very badly needed size this past year. Dampier, so long as he plays 10mpg or so, could be great for 4 rebounds, and some defensive matchups.

I imagine that the addition of Miller makes Hayes' passing a moot issue, which in turn will relegate him back to defensive specialist; that is, he'll play KG, TD, and Gasol but not get a lot of time in most other games. I think Hill will get the lion's share of the backup 4 minutes to start, and if he struggles, we might play Jeffries (who is more versatile on both ends of the court than Hayes). Then again, 2 defensive specialists (arguably 3) in the front court is a bit much, and it does seem if we add a piece, it'll be bag-packing time for some combination of bench bigs.

None the less, this is a really interesting scenario.

if we are trying to win now, you go for the seasoned dampier.

if you are building / acquiring assets for the future then you take a chance on developing fesenko.

with yao playing limited minutes this season i don't think we are any threat for the title. i'd rather take this season to cultivate young talent. so my choice is fesenko.

    Dampier.

That's who Morey's going after 1st. He's the more establish player and has shown what he can do. Fesenko is just the fall back option. From the little I seen from Fesenko, looks to be an big moble center with above average athleticism from his position and size, that can't get playing time on a team lacking quality centers.

If we talking about winning a championship then we need at least one big 6-11 to 7'2 big strong black center/power forward under the rim that can rebound, get physical, block shots and has experience. When I look at the past teams that have won championships I see that. Can Dampier be that guy... being 35 kinda over the hill that may sound like a longshot besides the fact that he is black and big/physical type but I know we need that cause every championship team has it. I'm going with the trend on this. Lakers weren't strong enough to win it all until Bynum was under the rim with Gasol.

I do not want any player named Erica on my team that has proven to just suck over the years.

Easily Dampier. People still give him a hard time because he could never play up to the absurd contract he got. That doesn't mean he isn't efficient around the rim, good shot blocker, and great rebounder though. For 2 mil a year he would be a steal. So what if he's 35, if we sign him we have 3 legit 7 foot centers, he's not gonna play over 20 min.

With Brad Miller on board to assist Yao Ming, I strongly advocate the acquisition of Fesenko -- Red Rockets' Red Glare, centers of attention.
