I wish I could find the whole match but man this has got to be the biggest event for tennis fans in a long time. Surprised it didn't get better TV coverage.

I wasn't expecting pistol pete to win but looks like he gave him a semi-challenge considering the circumstances. I hope he does better in the next 2 exhibitions. Hopefully the one in NYC will come to fruition.

I know! I was flicking through the channels yesterday (I'm in Korea, where this matched was played) and did a double-take when I saw it. My first reaction was, is that Pete Sampras?? No way. This can't be real! From the 15 minutes that I watched, Pete seemed to be doing pretty well for himself, but was still noticeably rusty. He was bombing aces all over the place, but missed a lot of easy backhands too.

Pete's wife is a bombshell! Is he still married to her? She's that girl from Billy Madison IIRC.

It's just an exhibition game right? He's just doing this for charity or something, not for rankings.

Only 36. 5 years removed from the game. He still has the serve though. Aced Federer 10 times and got multiple errors off of him. Played it pretty well. Missed some crucial points when he was up 4-2 in the 1st set. I mean he missed some easy shots badly. Obviously he wasn't match tough but then again Federer wasn't going 100% either so it about evens out. But it does show a little something. Pete goes for his shots and his heavy forehand can bother Fed. Pete does have the skills to mix it up with touch and power to keep Fed off his toes in order to beat him if they were both in their primes. Fed has the edge in my mind though because once he adjusts and figures out your game it's about over.
