West Wing has been incredible this year. What a come back. I'm rooting for Alda because I'd rather see him every week than Smits (just not a big fan of Smits and I love Alda), but I'm rooting for Smits because basically the whole current cast will go off the show if an R wins. I hate the idea of losing even one of the current White House staff. Anybody think Toby's joining the Santos campaign? I hope so. That last episode was brutally heart wrenching.
There is no way that a Republican will win on this show. Like you said, way too much upheaval. Which kind of makes the WW's current "election" a farce.
Not true. The writers haven't even decided who will win. There have been a few news stories about it and Zogby's running a poll which will impact the producers' decision. There were hints a few episodes back (when Smits and Alda shared a late night meal) that there could be a unity ticket. I would love that and it would mean some of the current cast could stick around.
For me this thread should start and end with SNL Running over 30 years I really do feel this has to be in the top 5 shows of all time and the best show that is still on TV....SNL is not just TV it changes how the public thinks of the people they portray on the skits.. BEST SHOW EVER!!!!
A unity ticket would be really wishy-washy. Although, it would be great if we ever saw it in the real world.
It would depend on how it was handled. I'd love to see the in-house policy debates between White House staff and the VP's office. One thing I love about the way the race is shaping up is that you just have to totally respect both of the contenders.
I watch a lot of shows on the Discovery Health Channel (Trauma ER and other medical shows); also National Geographic Science Channel (Naked Science and other shows); and during the day Court TV. I love most of the shows on that channel (forensic Files, masterminds). I watched the entire Jayson Williams trial (except for when I went to school). He is still guilty as hell. OH yeah, sometimes I will watch the Simpsons...
A unity ticket won't happen. They've already said that it will be Alda and Smits in the general election. Who would they run against? I wouldn't be suprised to see Toby, Will, and Donna join up with Josh to maintain at least that part of the cast. The last 2 episodes of this season will be the Democrat Nat. Convention and the Republican, respectively. Next season will open with the general election.

Sopranos - I bought all the DVDs Deadwood - Ian McShane won a well deserved award for this 6 Feet Under - great characters, gay characters that are not all about them being gay The Shield - Vic Battlestar Galactica Tru Calling - I <3 Dushku Shows I catch every once in a while: Simpsons Home Movies ATHF SGCTC - is this on anymore? Knifin' Around may be the funniest ep of any show ever! Harvey Birdman The Brak Show - the Hump SeaLab 2021 South Park Enterprise
I think Season 2 was the best. One thing for sure, 24 is much better on DVD then having to wait around for a week. It's like a non-stop, long, great movie then. And, it's one movie you don't want to end.
I recently got a new place and haven't bothered to go through the hassle of stealing cable. I can't even watch Rockets games! (Thanks, 610!) Surprisingly enough, I haven't missed it much. I don't have the internet at home, either. I end up spending more time on preparing my meals, reading, listening to my cd library and cleaning. On occassion I do get bored, but I'll usually just go for a workout or rent a DVD or something. I also drink a lot, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm not downing TV at all. I enjoyed watching it for 24 years, but after a couple of weeks without it, you find you don't miss your "favorite" shows nearly as much as you thought. Funny how much else there is to do when you're not strapped to the old idiot box.
He's had his moments. I liked it when he showed up to help Toby with a speech and delivered a note from Sam saying, "He's one of us." Also liked the recent bit with Leo when he asked him what they'd seen in the VP when they picked him. What, by the way, is up with him and Donna? With him and the NSA (I forget her name)?
Yeah, but he's just become to pompous and condescending. Like Josh, but without a reason to be. I still need to watch last week's episode. Blasted DVR's put me behind a week on all my favorite shows.
Actual: ER, gilmore girls, king of queens, my wife and kids. sopranos, nba action Past: Dead like me, seinfeld, friends, newsradio, quantom leap.
