    Jazz, Blue Streak, Grimlock, Ironside.

    Scorpnock, Soundwave, Shockwave, and Astrotrain.

    That's what I'll go with.

despite the membername... soundwave was the coolest transformer to me. he was loyalty to megatron (unlike that whiney b*stard starscream). the cassettes laserbeak, ravage, and rumble were bad arse. his voice is probably the second most recognizable sound in this cartoon's existence... second only to the actual sound of a transformer transforming. how can this guy not be loved in a time when walking down the street with a huge boombox blarring on your shoulder was cool?

second fave is... this guy of course.

edit... nice thread, btw. i thought of doing the same exact thing when i saw the gijoe thread. :D

Where's the love for Bumblebee? :D

I remember back in the day when I used to play with my transformers nobody wanted to be Bumblebee. If so you got your ass kicked.

    Sideswipe
    and
Bonecrusher (the first one i ever owned, this is the second gen toy. The original was green)

LOL! They look like Go-Bots, right?

It is amazing how they design the new toys these days. The detail is amazing. A couple of years ago I bought one of my kids a couple of Autobots that mimicked the designs on some modern cars: Subaru WRX, Jeep Wrangler, etc. You could only get near that level of detail with the bigger toys back in G1.

I liked the dinobots. The rest of them are pretty boring when not in robot form.
