Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor and George Carlin are the top of the list. Everyone else is fighting for 2nd place.

    Mitch Hedberg (RIP).

I've never laughed at as much or quoted anyone or anything as much as Hedberg.

    A few of my favorites...

Franklyn Ajaye- Literally wrote the Bible for stand-up comedy (Comic Insights— the Art of Stand Up Comedy).
Carlos Mencia- He will be in the slot that Chapelle vacated on CC.
Vic Henley- Funnier than all the Blue Collar comics combined.
Lynne Koplitz- A funny girl...hot too! Very rare.
George Wallace- Earns 50,000 a week at the Flamingo in Vegas.
Mark Gross- Head writer for "Rodney".
Jeremy Hotz- Everything he says I wish I would have written first.
    Lenny Bruce

    Thanks for the heads ups.

Does it have the joke about how he moved to a new town, and he could only base his decision to vote on politicians by the signs they put around the city, like "Michael Roberts: Honesty, Integrity"..."Oh, honesty and integrity! That's much better than this other guy's sign--'Andrew Brooks: Laziness, Thievery'"?

    He's brilliant.

"What a miserable ____ that is..."

And the one about driving on the freeway inches away from the concrete barrier: "Yeah, that's not intimidating at all."

Dave Attel is one of my favorites from the usual top comedians listed.

I don't know if I got it completely right, but one of my favorite lines from him goes something like this.

"I'm touching myself, my dog is licking himself, and we both catch eyes, and start laughing."

"If you ever need advice on the fastest way to get to a certain part of downtown, ask a guy with a wooden leg. He'll definitely tell you the shortest way to get around. And ya know the other great thing about wooden leg guy? He's got a great story to go with that leg.

Attel: How'd ya lose that leg?

Pegleg: Nam', mortar came on blew me up.

But if you ever run into a guy whose lost his teeth, what kinda stories is he gonna say?

Attel: How'd ya lose your teeth?

Toothless: Too much taffey. Oh man I love that taffey. Can't get me enough of it."

    The man is hilarious.

Everybody I've talked to hasn't heard of him, but I watch Sean Cullen's Comedy Central special at least once a week. It looks pretty old, though, not sure if he has any newer stuff. Other stuff..

    Brian Regan
    Jim Gaffigan
    Mitch Hedberg (RIP)
    Pablo Francisco
    Russell Peters
    Stephen Lynch
    Demetri Martin

Greg Proops and Frank Caliendo are also awesome, though I don't think they're solely stand-up acts.
