Chris Rock. His latest one called "Never Scared" is the most hilarious stand up bit I've ever seen. Those white trash Git-R-Done clowns are horrible and need to go away.
I really didnt like Dave Chappelles stand up, I saw him at the Improv and it sucked, but I love the Chappelle Show. I think hes great at skits, but lacks in stand up.
Awesome, thanks guys! This is why I love this site....again. I am bad with names, and so when it comes time to think of comedians names I can't remember many.
Richard Prior and Richard Jeni are great. Eddie Murphy was awesome in his day. Another guy to check out is Pablo Francisco. I was in tears at his last show. His movie-guy stuff is histerical. www.pablofrancisco.com
Another one of these threads, huh? Eddie Murphy George Lopez BLACKER? That can't happen. He'd disappear.
Am I the only one on this site who thought Jamie Foxx's "I Might Need Security" was one of the funniest stand-ups of all time?
Pablo was hilarious! THANKYOU! I loved his standup on Comedy Central, but I can never remember the comedians names.
Could be, I dont remember a single joke from it... to me it wasnt bad, but wasnt anything that sticks out in my mind...
I'm a big fan of Eddie Murphy's Delirious. His long bit on his family is the best stand-up I have ever heard. "You're wife's a bigfoot isn't she Gus?"
His show at the Improv was the funniest hour of my life. Tears streamed down my face. The best joke was about how he was reluctant to rate his horrible stomach pain too high when asked by the emergency room staff because he heard having a broken femur is the worst pain you can experience. He envisioned saying "10," and then someone comes limping in from the Broken Femur Ward: "WHO HAD THE AUDACITY to rate their pain a 10?!!"
George Carlin, Stephen Lynch. Also Jamie Kennedy did a show in my university once, and he was surprisingly good.
