What's your favorite play that you have seen? I haven't seen that many (Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof, and a couple of others that I can't remember the title), but my all time favorite is Fiddler on the Roof. Topol was incredible, as were the supporting cast.
When I went to see it, I didn't really know what to expect and had no idea of the story. But it turned out to be really good.

I like Phantom of the Opera and Starlight Express. I saw both in Houston and then got to see them both in London. Great musicals!!!

Hmmmm. So many to choose from. I'll just mention a couple...

    Evita (#1 in my book)
    Phantom of the Opera
    Les Miserables
    Miss Saigon
    Joseph and Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
    Tommy
    Rent
    Chess
    Starlight Express (yeah, roller skates!)
    Crazy for You

... And if you're talking about shows that deviate from the norm, I've gotta include Stomp and Blast! in my list...

Haven't seen many plays in my time.
I always thought Reservoir Dogs would be really good on the stage though.

The most spectacular was The Lion King on broadway. Other enjoyable ones include, Miss Saigon, Cats (me and GWB), Starlight Express and Rent. Oklahoma with one of the Dukes of Hazzard guys was awful.

An actual play as opposed to a musical that I relly enjoyed was Art. It starred George Segal, Buck Henry and Wayne Knight (Newman from Seinfeld). Afetrwards my wife and mother-in-law got to speak for 5-10 mintues with the actors and got them to autograph their play bills. Very nice guys.

I'm really surprised that so many know Starlight Express. Most people I have talked to haven't heard of it.

I've always thought it was wonderful. Great story, great music, and great action! It's a lot of fun.

I wanted to add Beauty and the Beast to my list. I like the story and it was great to see it come to life on stage. I'd really like to see The Lion King and Rent.

    Rent, Les Miserables.

I saw Rent and the Phantom of the Opera when they came to Houston and Les Miserables in London.

I hope to catch The Lion King when it comes.

Have any of you seen Little Shop of Horrors? A group at my school is putting it on this weekend and I am going. I was wondering if ya'll had any opinions about the play itself?

I went to see it last night and I loved it. So since I almost never go to plays that is my favorite by far.
