Oops..Grendal beat me to the war room quote.

The Deer Hunter. Pretty much any scene, but epecially the very end where they're all sitting at the table, and their positioning and camera angle reminds you of the Last Supper. There were probably only about 10pages of actual dialouge in the entire 3+ hour film, but it said a whole lot based on symbolism and pure cinematography. Beautiful, Beautiful piece of work.

or the classic scene from Airplane with Barbara Billingsly (June Cleaver) and the two black guys..

    "oh stewardess..I speak Jive"

Ugh. That Swingers seen is probably one of my most painful to watch movie scenes. That was one train wreck of a phone call.

I could almost do the ENTIRE Tombstone dialog. That is the best movie IN TIME OF LIFE EVER FOREVER AND EVER (not Amen). The best scene from there:

The entire Curly Bill Brocious shooting the Sheriff scene is special, it's the turning point of the movie and when Wyatt gets involved, though he said he woudln't. Especially
"You can't hit nothin'. You're just a drunk piano player."
"I've got TWO guns... [click] [click]... one for EACH of YA."

"You tell'em I'm coming...!!! And hell's coming WITH ME!!!"

I could almost quote the entire Terminator 2 movie. In Terminator 2, the one I like best is the one where Sarah Kannah escapes, meeting the Terminator for the first time, with the "Stand on one leg...!" scene second. I also loved True Lies; the best scene in there is the one where Arnold picks his cuffs, Jamie Lee Curtis saves Arnold, and lastly Jamie punches Tia out.

Comedy: All of Airplane, mostly the Saturday Night dance when she is imitating the sailor who's just gotten stabbed.

Action: Terminator, the "Hey, why did you let me go?" "Because JU TOL' ME TO." scene.

Drama: Forrest Gump - "Run FORREST!" (Forrest outruns the truck).

I watch way too many movies to have any permanent favorites, so here are some that made big impressions on me recently (I'm not going to give too much away - if you want to know why I like these scenes, rent the movies):

    Ikiru (highly recommended, BTW)
    - The scene in the restaurant where Wantanabe resolves to do something before he dies
    - The scene where Wantanabe's coworker is about to confront his superiors about who should get credit for the park

    Audition
    - The scene where Aoyama finally calls Asami back

    M
    - The scene where Becker is on "trial"

    Dr. Strangelove
    - The last scene in the War Room

    Five Easy Pieces
    - The scene where Dupea tries to order toast

That's a good one. You'll never see a scene like that in any other kind of movie, and it's hilarious.

    godfather:
the ending where michael was in church being a godfather to carl's son while his enemy's were getting wacked. made me think about how someone can fit conficting believes together so perfectly.

    glory:
when the soilders almost took the fort but met a row of cannons. just sad.

    air force one:
gary oldman's character said (paraphrasing) "I believe in god. for what i'm doing, i'm going to burn in hell. that's how much i love my country". now that's true conviction.

    le femme nikita:
when nikita hesitated to sniped the woman politician as her handler was yelling at her to do it. under pressure people tend to obey authority, i watched the movie after seeing the Milgram Experiment (a must see documentry).

Speaking of True Lies, Tia Carrera is dancing the "Uh-oh.. TANGO..." song Por Una Cabeza from True Lies in "Dancing with the Stars". Brought memories of her and Arnold, of course.
