no one mentions M. Night Shyamalan?

His movies are pretty good, most of them except that Unbreakable.

And no one tops Quentin Tarantino.

I actually liked Unbreakable. Don't get why it gets a bad wrap.

    I think he's done 3 good movies.

    Sixth Sense-very good
    Unbreakable-above average
    Signs-very good

His other two big films are garbage imo.

Here are some of my favorites

    Ingmar Bergman
    Akira Kurosawa
    Billy Wilder
    Steven Spielberg

These guys haven't necessarily contributed any movies to my top 10 list (which changes from moment to moment), but their output has a consistency that makes me interested in anything they do.

6th Sense and Signs, very good. I also like anticipating trying to find him in the movies. Gives you something else to do while enjoying the plot.

I'm much too modest to mention myself, but I am open to paying someone else to mention me.

There's a lot of directors I like, but at the top of the list would be James Cameron.

He may have a huge ego, he may not have done very many movies and for whatever reason became completely obsessed with the Titanic for a decade and stopped making films altogether, but the films he has made are absolute gold... The Terminator, T2, The Abyss, Aliens, True Lies, Titanic.

Can't wait for Avatar and Battle Angel.

    Guy Ritchie.

    The former Mr. Madonna.

Things were going well until he made that god-awful movie starring her.

    Stealing from other people's lists:

    Joel & Ethan Coen
    Stanley Kubrik
    Woody Allen

Not that I don't like other people's stuff. But, I'll see anything and everything by these guys.
