Thats my fav! But the only place I ever see it at is at Marble Slab. Other than that Mint chocolate chip is #1, and cookies and cream is a close 2nd. Man I'm getting hungry!
Mint Chocolate Chip by far is my favorite. When I was little we had a Baskin Robbins near our house and I always ordered it and I still love it today. Yes, I have had the white version as well, and it didnt taste bad, but it wasn't the same. Mint Chocolate Chip was meant to be green Speaking of a funny Baskin Robbins story, when I was little my family went on a vacation to South Padre Island. Well we wanted some ice cream, and found a local Baskin Robbins. However, to our dismay they had only FOUR flavors. Guess they decided to add 3 plus 1 together, instead of using the typical 31 flavors. Boy was that a letdown
Strawberry Cheesecake beats the hell out of your puny flavors. 'sigh' I can't wait to get back to college, we have a Baskin Robins in our dorms.
Butter Pecan. If you love Butter Pecan, you need to check out Hank's Homemade Ice Cream, on South Main near the Texan's practice facility. They make the most unbelievable Butter Pecan ice cream with whole roasted pecans in it. Their other ice cream is good also but that's my favorite.
Mint chocolate chip is one of my two favorites. I agree it should be green (even though I know it's just food coloring), but I have to admit, my favorite rendition of it was not green. Ben & Jerry's Mint chocolate chunk. YUM! Can't get it here in Texas....closest place is NOLA My other favorite is coffee ice cream with heath bar pieces in it. either from Ben & Jerry's or Marble slab.
yuck, sounds bad... by the way, thanks for the pumpkin pie recipe... i baked it for family while visiting here in H-town... given the fact that i DON'T cook, they were all impressed... when i told them it was soy based, they went nuts! everyone loved it (it also helps that my family is as health conscious and nuts about calories counting as me!) but the recipe was a hit!
I'm really happy they liked it. I got it from one of the PETA cookbooks and have been making it for years. In fact, after seeing your post, Mr. JB started talking about how much he'd like a pie -- so I'll probably be baking one myself in the next day or so.
Neopolitan.... thats what the three flavor stuff is called right?? Put together three of my fav flavors.... Vanilla Strawberry Chocolate.... hmmm...good stuff And that^^^,... kiddies is why you shouldn't do excessive drugs when you're young!!
