I am going to go by the government's "MyPyramid" scheme and ask you all what is your favorite food group, meaning which one could you not do without. There are: Grains: breads, cereals, etc. Vegetables: carrots, lettuce, broccoli, etc. Fruits: apples, oranges, etc. Oils: fats and oils, the government recommends fish and nut oils Milk: yogurt, milk, cheese, etc. Meat: beef, chicken, fish, etc. Discretionary: candy, alcohol, etc. Poll included.
I could pretend to be healthy and say that I loved fruits and vegetables... but I'm not going to lie to you. I don't. I buy them and put off eating them. I make myself eat salads and feel like I've paid my debt to myself and society, but it's really just a fancy substrate for the cheese and croutons. I'm not a big meat person either, though. What I like the most are bread and dairy products. You can get cereal with milk, cheese pizza, grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese... I know white bread can be turned into fat easily and I've actually trained myself to like whole grains. But if I have a meal with no bread or crackers or equivalent, it's like there's something missing.
Fruits. I think the meat group has a close second place in my list. I know mlwoo won't vote in this 'cuz macalu's meats is not a choice. [basline]
