I'm not a big drinker either, and it's not just because I am 19, going on 20 in June. I see my friends drinking simply to get drunk, and that to me is one of the dumbest things ever. Then, you add in I hate beer, and wine, so that's another part of it. Plus my parents never really drank.

I do like pina colada's and other "fruity drinks" with a tropical flavor to them. The Pina Colada is my favorite drink, when my family went to Los Cabos San Lucas two years ago, I had one or two every day in the afternoon at the hotel.

Another drink I have grown to like being in Austin is this "cider" you can get at Doubledaves. It has a sweet taste, and isn't loaded with alcohol.

As far as my favorite drink, bar none.........

Coca Cola. It's my staple. At this point, I can tell if it's a good Coke drink, or if a restaurant has stiffed me, and I hate flat drinks.

Scotch on the rocks. Any scotch will do, as long as it's not a blend, of course. Single malt, Glen Livet, Glen Galley, perhaps, any glen.

Rum and diet coke or gin and diet tonic. An old guy trying to follow Dr. Atkins.

Margaritas when I decided to break the diet. Haven't found a sugarless margarita yet.

That's what I understood "soda" to mean. When I say water, I mean still spring water. Ice is OK, but I don't like my whisky cold.

I'll refer you to the Laphroaig website, which happens to be my favourite single malt.

If I am not drinking Dr. Pepper, (oh how I miss the good Doctor right now as I drink my Coke for the caffeine only) it is usually an Ameretto Stone Sour. Can't drink much because I have "a condition". :p

Used to be wine coolers but I was 17 and an ass.

    Hi-C and lime slushies.

Yeah, Pole, I am a big Cab drinker too. Actually my favorite grocery store quality wine is the Kendall Jackson 2000/01 Chardonnay. I just have an extreme affection for the Nouveau because I used to live in England and we would go across the Channel for the festival and we always got to hook up with French girls...ahhh.... you can imagine the inappropriate responses that Beaujolais gives me....

Michelob Ultra has only 2 carbs per beer, and is suprisingly good. I like it better than Miller Lite or Bud Light.
