I'll go with Cici's, even though they've slowly raised their price over the years from $2.99 to $4.49.
It went up to 4.49??? Last time I was there it was 3.99. When they slyly changed their jingle from "Cici's Pizza! All You can eat for only 2.99!" to "Cici's Pizza! All You can eat for only 3.99!" I stopped going there almost completely. They tried to up the price on me almost subconsciously. Ah but I saw through it. 3.99 just doesn't sound right. Anyways, I'd say my favorite buffet is Cathay House in Waco, they serve Chinese food without making it one of those typical greasy Chinese buffets...there's actually tons of good food on it.
Cici's is good but the best buffet is Dimassi's. They serve Mediterranean food and you have so many choice of great fresh food. It is alittle pricey ($9.99) but well worth the price.
All buffets are gross. You are guaranteed AT LEAST an upset stomach after eating at one. Cicis is by far the worst, CiCis pizza is made with a recipe for diarrhea. All the other places are just as nasty, everyone touches the same spoon that you touch, people probably dont wash their hands. Gross.
i like decent-quality thai buffets. they're pricey (at least $10), but worth it.. about the same price as a dish, but you get variety and all-you-can-eat
i hate cicis and their stupid price raising businesses should not be following the lead of crack dealers
How is CiCis made with a recipe for diarrhea? They just use dough, olive olive oil, cheese, and marinara sauce...that's pretty hard to f*ck up... as for me, my vote goes to fogo de chao
Coming from a person that is persian...i can't stand dimassis their food sucks ass...went there once and never gone back.. Always liked CiCi's guess since i went there since highschool. Even though it's not the best. Always had a place for Lucky Village too...my college years... I guess I just got used to the 2 even though they aren't the greatest.
I love Cici's, but they stopped making some of my favorite things there. I haven't been in almost a year -- they aren't quite as popular up here as they are down there. Best buffets -- Vegas. Just thinking about it makes me hungry.
I don't care that they raised the price. I love Cici's. The trick is not to eat the crust, and you'll end up eating so much...! One thing my family and I like to do is to order the Olé whole pizza as soon as we get there, and an Alfredo pizza for our girls. The Olé is like a TACO on a PIZZA, having meat, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese and hot sauce. YUMMY.
There is a place here in LA called Zen Buffet, that is about $15 but has King crab legs. All you can eat King crab legs for that is amazing. In addition they prepare sushi that is part of the buffet as well. It is a great deal.
There is a Filipino Buffet on Bissonnet near Timmy Chan's and Burger King called Filipiniana, never had a bad stomach and the food tastes great.
