OK...I know this will be a pretty pathetic attempt at creating a new thread, but with the "Commercials I Hate" thread, I thought we might could discuss some of the best television ads of all time...beer commercials.

I remember the old Rodney Dangerfield/Bob Uecker/Lite Beer from Miller commercials from back in the day. Those will always be my favs, but I think my current favorite is the one (can't remember the brand) where the three guys are over at their buddy's house watching a movie on video when the movie switches over to a home p*rn shoot. I laugh at that every time I see it.

Previous favs include Evil Beaver and "Adios Amigos" (Dick commercials).

The Bud whazzup commercials blow anyone else away.

I also like the Miller High Life ones, particularly the one where the guy is eating a powdered donut.

    Miller High Life Ads:

Man putting tubs of premade potato salad in his shopping cart.

"Potato salad. Macaroni salad. Tuna salad. Otherwise, no salad."

    or

Man watering his yard with a hose when a neighbor drives by in an SUV.

"The High Life Man knows a glorified station wagon when he sees one."

    or

Man watching his neighbor struggle with backing his boat into his driveway.

"The High Life Man remembers a time when men could control their machinery."

I actually wanted to post a least favorite one. I've only seen it once and most people I talk to haven't seen it, so I feel real stupid but here it goes. I think it was for Samuel Adams.

A guy and a girl are making out and she stops.

"I have to tell you something. I used to be a man."

The guy looks are disgusted and freaked out. Then he takes a sip of the beer and looks at her again.

"Now, where were we?" He says and they continue.

And that was like the whole thing, as best as I can remember. Maybe I dreamed it or something. Anyway, doesn't make me want to drink that beer.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

these girls drop something and he bends over to pick it up. One of the girls say, arent you so and so from the browns? the other one just nods. funny stuff
