Mo may not bust his butt, but he will put a much harder effort this year. He didn't try at all last year because he wanted to get traded as soon as possible, but when the trading deadline came and went the Clips still didn't deal him off as he wanted. So for a while he just kept his mouth shut and but still didnt put in 100% because of his disappointment, but he did put up a hell of a lot of shots.

This is what I was thinking also, bring him on the team anyway, it will give us options! And it will make the other PF compete more for the positions, KT need all the motivation that he can get.
    Bring him on!

Why would a guy with three years experience sign a one year contract? To show what he can really do and then really cash in. You're right, he didn't really work that hard this year, but he was assuming he would get the max. Unfortunately he was part of a great free agent class and his overall game wasn't good enough (this year) to get the max. So he'll work hard for one year, get into a weak free agent group with even better numbers, and get the 9 mil.

Why did we have to start another post when this has been discussed already?

If it's already been discussed then don't read it... by the way the first time I discussed it was in a thread under a different title and I didn't get much feedback. I wanted some opinions. Besides, not everyone reads all threads...there are a lot out there ya know. AND...it's not like all of these Taylor threads aren't redundant anyway. It's big news. You're going to get a lot of repeats on this topic.

Why does everyone think that Mo Taylor will be busting his butt more than usual to get a big contract next year. [IMG] This should have been the year he busted his butt to get a big contract this summer. He plays his game, but as for upcoming contracts, I didn't see him going any harder than usual to get "The Big Contract." I like the guy, hope to bring him aboard, would be thrilled to get him...but don't expect him to work any harder or just explode into some monster PF just because he is trying to earn a bigger paycheck.
