Fast Start

    The last few years (except JVG's first season) Rockets started off really slow.

    Even T-Mac came out and said he only picks up the pace later on in the season. I know there is no way we start off with 9-10 wins the first month, but its OK. Heck, I don't even care if we do end up chasing SA and Dallas. That only makes the season more fun. I would rather be the underdog; if we were number 1, then anything short of The Finals would be a waste.

    Sooo according to you... we will fight all the way back, only to choke on the last game and miss the playoffs? Great...

    I take the 10-5 with that schedule. Anything better than that is a major plus. I think it's who we beat that's more important. You can beat up all the crappy teams, and lose to the SA, and DALs, that's not going to do any good. If we can just beat SA, and DAL the first time around, it'll be a confidence boost for sure.

    let's not burn out before the playoffs, it's a long season. It's better that we be gradual in my opinion. Also, I don't think we beat the Hornets at all last year.
