that's pretty good.. the cheese stands out the most as something that looks terrible compared to what they portray it as
Who cares what it looks like. IT'S FAST FOOD!!! If he wants food that looks at the restaurant like it looks on TV, buy some fried chicken and STFU!
I remember seeing some 20/20-like show many years ago showing how these companies prep their ‘food’ for their respective ads and commercials. In most cases, the food wasn’t even real. The little water droplets on the tomatoes weren’t even water. They were actually some kind of gel and each droplet was applied one at a time. It was VERY elaborate. BTW, pretty much every ‘real’ item on that site (except that Wendys salad) still looks pretty good to me. It must be time for lunch.
I remember seeing that. I remember the ice cream was made out of some sort of lard concoction so it wouldn't melt.
The Subway sandwich and the Fillet-o-fish looked relatively the same. In most of these cases, a big difference is that the cheese is melted in the real thing.
i don't know, in the picture of the real sandwich the background is always darker, which contributes significantly to making it look unappealing. if the background was just as light as they are in the commercials, i don't think they would look that different. *shrugs*
