The other day I was appalled to find out that my local taco bell carried Meximelts for $1.39. I can remember just a few years ago when they were as low as .79 (but more commonly .99). I also noticed that chicken soft tacos were $1.89 (when I remember last buying them for $1.39). What instances of fast food inflation have you noticed recently.
I noticed the same thing...the #1 combo at Chick-Fil-A has been $5.19 for the longest time. Just recently it went up to $5.39.
The Whopper used to be 99 cents for like 8 years but now they're over 2 bucks. Even the Whopper Jr. is $1.29. The economy changes, it happens.
If Jack in the Box raises its price on 2 tacos, the ensuing bedlam will make Peak Oil look like V-Day.
You're not the only one brotha! I also remember not too long ago when a nugget meal at McD's was 3.99, now it is somewhere around the area of 4.29.
ok seriously. 6 pieces of nuggets plus watered down coke plus old fries or 1.5 pounds of grade A pork fried rice + 4 chicken wings smothered in hot sauce. If you get thirsty, there's always quarter water. cmon people.
I wouldn't argue against that at all. The lady at "Quick Chinese" knows my voice because I order from there so much.

I usually just get the 50 piece nuggets for 10.99 at micky d's.. split the cost with a friend--he doesn't eat more than about 10--and the rest is mine! huahahaha!
Timmy Chan's...mmm...I remember when the BK Crossiandwich (msp?) was $.99...Soft Taco Supreme's are over a buck now, blasphemy...but McD's still has the Double cheesburger for $1...
