This Survey touches on a lot of subjects that we have discussed here. * Many of our allies consider Iraq a threat, but question our motives; * Most of the world consider disease the biggest threat, not terrorism (I guess most of the world isn't a target); * 15% of Americans had difficulty buying food, the highest in industrialized nations; * View of US have fallen somewhat over the last 2 years, but still remain facvorable in the majority of the population in 35 of 42 countries surveyed; * Canadians are happy happy happy; * Russians with favorable views of the US has increased from 37% in 2000 to 61% in 2002, while our 'ally' Pakistan has decreased from 23% to 10% . See the link for interesting Tables. Who really likes us (at least 75%): Uzbekistan (?), Honduras and Guatemala (did we help them with their hurricane damage or something?), Ukraine, Venezuela, Kenya, Nigeria, UK. Who really doesn't (less than 50%): Pakistan, Turkey, Argentina. http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?ReportID=165
