should be very interesting , Since you have to make your pick without seeing some of the show fist . I have no clue who will be voted off first so I used the process of elimination .

I came accross an interesting site about the first survivor and how the producers might have actually gotten involved a little too much and tried to influence who got voted off.

    Thanks [IMG]

My secret -- One of the bios on Debb said that her voice and manner were more annoying than Sue, from the origional Survivor cast. I figured there was no way the new group, who all "watched and studied" the origional, would want to put up with Sue II for 42 days, and would dump her as fast as they could.

Unless the one tribe figures out some way to get their act together, I get the feeling Ogacor (sp?) will run away with all of the challenges. The tribes are way out of balance on physical ability and common sense.

Do you think the other tribe was disappointed with their Army guy who managed to get through ROTC without being able to read "North" on a compass?

Hmm , I thought perhaps Rodger would be axed , Him getting his foot caught , reminded me so much Of Sonja , who couldn't keep up and stalled her tribe on the first challenge and got voted off , But so many Votes against Debb makes me believe that an Aliance may already be in play . I think it was the Law Student who couldnt read the compass . Ogokor and Kucha i think are the tribes .

    Grrr

I was sure Debb was gonna get the axe. I shoulda bet all my money on her rather than spreading it around. Grr.

Kel is the US Army Special Forces guy -- From Fort Hood (2 Texans on the team!). He is the one they made a big deal out of being in the Army. He should do well.

But, the law student (Nick) is in the Army also. They didn't say anything about it' but it's in his official Bio. He attended ROTC in college and is now a serving Army officer. The impression I get from the CBS web site is that the Army is paying for him to go to law school, and his goal is to join the Army's JAG corps.

It doesn't sound like he's really served active duty yet, and he probably won't ever be in the trenches, but it would seem that a basic skill that he would have learned in ROTC is how to use a map and compass.

I figured they put the two on separate teams to kind of balance out the survival skills -- but the teams don't seem very balanced. Also, both cooks -- Kevin and Kel (amatuer, gormet -- his mother is from Peru) are on the same team, so it should be interesting to see if they eat better.

A little sidenote on Deb. She's engaged to her step-son. Nasty!
