Objective: Build a team around the Rockets. Imagine all trades possible but keep things reasonable (Don't trade Cato for Shaq). Make a favorite player team instead of a most-likely-to-win team (unless winning is your favorite thing). Although it's built around the Rockets, feel free to trade almost everyone away (eep, I see the entire Nuggets or Bulls team being posted by a few people) :p

Purpose: Things are a bit slow :) . Just always find it interesting to see an NBA fan's favorite player team. I guess it somewhat reflects the fan's personality.

    Here's mine :

Staff : Rudy and the guys

    Guard: Raja Bell
    Guard: Michael Finley
    Small Forward: Ron Artest
    Power Forward: Eddie Griffin
    Center: Theo Ratliff

Bench: Moochie, Marc Jackson, Collier, Torres, Morris.

I don't see how it can still be the Rockets if you trade away Francis (unless you trade him for Hakeem).

if I cared enough about your opinion I would respond, but I don't, so I won't. You said Moochie should give Cato a blow job and therefore deserve no respect.

Fantasy team? I can do that. Here's my 3 team trade with Atlanta & Golden State & the numbers actually worked in RealGM.

My weak a** reasons why Atlanta & GSW would do the trades are:
    1) Atlanta needs a starting PG.
    2) GS might want to move Mookie because they are still pissed about him playing golf, instead of coming to practice(It's weak, but this is a fantasy trade).

    Here's the fantasy trade.

Houston sends Cato/KT/Moochie(@ $2.5 mill) to Atlanta.
Houston sends Walt to Golden State.

Golden State sends Mookie/their rights to Marc Jackson to Houston.

Atlanta sends Theo Ratliff to Houston.

Houston would then sign Jackson with the medical exception.

This would give us a lineup of:

    C: Ratliff/Collier/Jackson
    PF: Jackson/Griffin/Taylor(next year)
    SF: Rice/Langhi/T-Mo
    SG: Mobley/Torres
    PG: Francis/Mookie

We could sign Pig or Chucky Brown to round out the roster. That's a pretty talented team with depth at almost every position.

Hottie, that is a great and realistic idea compared to what the others look like. However, Atlanta won't trade Ratliff unless they find something wrong with him still that they would be hush hush about.

The truely sad thing is that, Cato actually has the the tools to be a Ratliff type player defensively, but has no heart to go with it. Someone really needs to give him a swift kick in the a**. I wonder if Chicago could be talked into loaning us Oakley for a year. He'd have no problem getting on Cato's a**.
