Fallout New Vegas came out today. Anyone get it? I loved Fallout 3 for the console and I even bought the PC version where I installed a bunch of mods and ****. So, which way should I role PS3 or Pc and what are your thoughts on the game so far?

Fallout is just way too slow paced for my taste.

Got it this morning for PS3. Haven't done much with it yet, just started. I like how you set up to start in this one. It felt like a long time before you left the vault in F3.

Had to finish killing 72K zombies before I could give time to New Vegas.

They announced yesterday that the DLC will be xbox exclusive this winter. That's not to say they will not release it for pc and ps3 later down the road. they said more announcements coming soon. I am getting it for pc regardless. I hate playing first person on a controller...mouse and keyboard gaming all the way...

I preordered through Amazon for the first time. It's 6:42PM and I still haven't received it... ugh.

Your ****ing crazy. :p Game looks awesome. Really want to buy it now but don't have the time right now to play it. Fallout 3 had me in that world for 100+ hours in a duration of 4 months. Think I'll wait till Christmas when the game flow is lessened. Still want to play Forced Unleashed 2, Black Ops, Fable 3, Kineticimals......ok maybe just the first three.

This looks to me like Bethesda going Bungie's road...

Sell overpriced expansion pack in hopes of luring loyal customers. Same engine, a few new weapons, and that's about it.

They released 5 expansion packs for Fallout 3. Almost every new game now has extra features (maps, levels, etc) made along side the game to be sold later. Just have to face the fact that this is how console games are going to be now.

At first the notion of a Las Vegas setting was intriguing to me, but after watching that trailer it looks like they didn't really do it how I would have expected/wanted. The Strip parts almost came off like something out of Bioshock, with its futuristic/old-school steampunk vibe.

Its probably like fallout 3. Finish the main quest and pay for DLC to continue playing.

i LOVED fallout 3 and this one looks possibly even better

EXCEPT im hearing it has a ton of bugs. specially on the 360 version. I would just get PC, but I dont even know if my PC could run it, or at least run it well. So I dont know. Kinda sucks that they released a broken game.
