Looks like Julia Louise Dreyfus will be given one last chance to break the Seinfeld Curse as her show Watching Ellie will be back as a mid-season replacement again, with some big re-tooling... I give it four more episodes after it comes back...
It's hard to even begin to watch a new series any more. It's off the air before barely even having a chance to be any good and attract viewers. Plus, all the commercials almost make it unbearable. Looks like we need a Seinfeld reunion episode. The old cast seems to be having trouble apart from each other. The nature of the beasts is too eat their young. Surf
Sweet! Jimmy Kimmel kicks ass!, where did you see this at? and does it say what his show is going to be about?
ABC should have got Jon Stewart instead. I don't know if Jimmy Kimmel can headline his own show which I'm guessing it will be a talk show? It will premeire January 2003. E! has also cancelled Talk Soup.
Fox announces their schedule on Thursday but I don't think it looks good for Greg The Bunny or Andy Richter Controls the Universe. Both were funny comedies but Fox is pretty quick to cancel programs that aren't immediate hits. I guess we'll see.
P.I. getting cancelled?!? That sucks. That was one of the better shows on TV. If anything they should have made it an hour and got rid of whatever was after it.
how can they cancell politcally incorrect?!? many a college students will be pissed. the best new show for me definitely has to be Smallville on the WB. Great characters and hot girls
Perhaps P.I. will go back to Comedy Central where it started. It would make a good companion to The Daily Show. This is a rumored FOX Sunday night schedule for 02-03 6:00 Futurama 6:30 Oliver Beene (new show) 7:00 The Simpsons 7:30 King of the Hill 8:00 Malcolm in the Middle 8:30 The Grubbs or The Pitts (both new shows) Oliver Beene Premise: An 11-year-old boy comes of age in a dysfunctional family during the Cold War. Stars: Grant Shaud ("Murphy Brown"), Wendy Makkena ("The Job"), Andy Lawrence ("Brotherly Love") Producer: Steven Levitan ("Just Shoot Me") The Grubbs Premise: Based on the British series "The Grimleys," about a family that can't catch a break and whose son has a crush on his teacher. Stars: Randy Quaid ("Davis Rules," "Saturday Night Live"), Carol Kane ("Taxi"), Michael Cera, Brian Sites ("Crossing Jordan," "The Ellen Show"), Ricardo Antonio Chavira, Lori Rom Producer: Joshua Sternin ("That 70s Show") The Pitts Premise: A family is the personification of Murphy's Law. Stars: Dylan Baker ("Happiness," "Murder One") Producer: Mike Scully ("The Simpsons")
I might be the only one, but I'm not all excited about any of these shows mentioned above. Maybe Greg the Bunny and Smallville. Broadcast networks just really suck nowadays, overall that is.
Maher took some shots at ABC last night saying he was being fired not cancelled for something he said. He said ABC's decision had nothing to do with ratings. He also told people not to try to save the show (1 month left) cause he's done with ABC.
SOB!!! They are cancelling "The Job"??? I really liked that show! Fox better keep "Grounded for Life" !!! I emailed Fox about that show. where are you getting all your info outlaw? Thanks for posting it.
