will facebook go on forever? as the years pass we're still on facebook we add friends we delete friends....
I'm sure a generation will come in and think it's not cool to get on a network with so many old people. There will be a new social network that targets only them in the same way facebook originally only targeted college students.
Seems like you've met or exceeded the BBS Hangout quota for ******* replies, so here's my honest guess: That boyfriend is the ultra jealous type, and moving out of town gives him more leverage to dictate whom she can or can't be friendly with. Forget about it for 3 or 4 weeks, then shoot her a friendly what's up to reassess the situation.
Sorry to hear that. This kind of stuff scares the hell out of me. This was the first thing that popped into my mind.
Sounds like you either creeped her out, or the new boyfriend is jealous. Either way, I don't think that trying to continue to contact her is the best approach.
Definately this, or she is just being overly cautious so as not to make him jealous. She's a mother of 5, afterall, I imagine she wants to be super careful as there are not too many dudes out there willing to take that on.
Quick question. Is there any way to see the private photos of this girl I'm stalking? Thanks in advance.
Child's play my friend. What you really want is to get an address and sit outside her home at night......err......to make sure she's safe. That way she'll really love you when you leave gifts in her bedroom.
Another question: On what planet do you live on if you really think changing your FB picture to a cartoon character can actually prevent child abuse? God DAMN, people are stupid.
It's more about raising awareness than anything. Then, people may decide to take action through volunteering, etc.. That's the general idea.
I didn't even know that was about child abuse. I was just a sheep following the flock. Plus, Carl from ATHF is my idol.
I have a similar situation, with a friend who passed, but I find it the opposite of creepy: it's actually really nice to still visit his profile. Friends still comment on his wall, updating him on their lives, leaving remembrances and expressing how much they still miss him. It helps keep his memory alive in our hearts.
The annoying this is I changed my profile pic to Charlie Brown holding his Christmas branch...two days BEFORE this whole thing went viral. It bothers me a bit to think that others rope me in with the idiots who switched their pics for this "activism", but I really like 'A Charlie Brown Christmas', so it's staying.
I imagine it is the same planet where you grow a mustache, and look like a homosexual for the month of November, thinking that it will prevent cancer.
Their profile turns into an unintentional memorial. I have two facebook friends who are no longer with us. It is very cool how it happens that way.
