brother ... there are so many words i dont understand in the dicussions and debates , can i ask you for these meanings and tell me .. please ? cuz whenever i ask noody tells me
What words do you mean? dictionary.com will help with basic english but may not be as helpful with slang or understanding the context in which the word was used
Actually, I have found that dictionary.com is very helpful even with slang and words in different languages as well as proper names (Greek and Norse gods even).
Cool_Chick, I don't know why I was called upon to be your translator, but the fact is that many of your posts (from what I remember) are incoherent (poorly written) and do not show a proper understanding of the english language. Though this may sound harsh. Learn the language better and then try to get involved in complicated discussions. And I really don't know why i'm your 'brother'? Email me if you wish though at fdkgf@aol.com
ok... about the brother thing its something about respect and in islam's view muslims are folks , even the good non believers they are folx but if u dont want me to call u that tell me i wont again about the translation thing if u cant its ok i understand , and it doesnt sound harsh its ur opinion u didnt call me a bad thing about trying 2 learn english better then discuss .... no .... i did SHOW a lot of THE GREAT THINGS IN ISLAM as u saw .. NO I WONT STOP DEBATING I WONT STOP TO SHOW ANY1 HOW EVIL AND LIARS SOME ARE HERE ( w/o mentioning names ) they just lie and lie and lie
read please ... The Holy Prophet said: "He who decreases a grief out of the grieves of this world for his Muslim brother, Allah will decrease for him a grief out of the grieves of the Hereafter." Imam Husayn [a] said: "Verily, the procession of people's needs towards you is from among the blessings of Allah upon you. Therefore, grieve ye not because of these blessings." Imam Ali [a] said: "Whenever you find that your Muslim brother is in need, try to see to it." (Do not let him feel compelled to verbalize his need). Imam Sadiq [a] narrates from his forefathers [a], from the Messenger of Allah , who said: "He who feeds a believer to satiate him, Allah will feed him from the fruits of Heaven; he who dresses him to cover his nakedness, Allah will give him clothing of brocade and silk; he who quenches the thirst of a believer, Allah will give him drink of the sealed container; and he who helps him or removes his grief, Allah will settle him under the shade of His Throne on the Day of Reckoning when there is no shade except for His Shade." The holy Prophet said: "He who helps a Muslim believer (in his troubles), Allah, Almighty and Glorious, will remove from him seventy-three agonies, one of which is in this world and seventy-two other agonies at the time of Great Agony, when people are busy with themselves (in Hereafter)."
even though i didnt understand a lot of what in the sayings .. anyway i will look 4 the other sayings about the non-believers
imam husayn is the grand son of the holy prophet imam ali is his father but not son of the prophet he is the husband of his daughter imam sadiq is the grand son of imam husayn's son blessings of god be upon them just 2 let u know who they are on islam .
While we're at it... F.D. Khan, is there some reason why M.J. Khan doesn't go by his full name in this election? I don't think I've seen it written once anywhere during this election.
I'm sure its to make him sound less ethnic. He is practically family and I have known him most of my life. He is a very honorable and intelligent man with a background in Engineering/Real Estate and he also has an MBA from Rice. He is independently wealthy and I feel that he wishes to do some good in the community and I would urge all of you to vote for him.
I'm not going to vote for Khan or his opponent McConn, but McConn has resorted to dirty politics. I've received flyers from him exposing Khan as a liberal carpetbagger. Funny thing is the Harris County GOP supports Khan. He calls Khan by his full name not MJ in some attempt to expose Khan.
BTW what is his full name, I was down in Houston this summer and I saw posters of him all over town, but I too never saw his name written out.
