This thread inspired me to go back and revamp all my privacy settings and friend lists. Can anyone riddle me this? Why on earth can I control every aspect of what someone sees on my profile, EXCEPT for my posted links/posted notes/"fan of" pages/and groups???? To me, these are THE most important things to limit access to besides photos.
Well, I'm a tardo. Apparently facebook lists these things as "applications". So you have to go into a seperate "applications privacy" setting to change them. Except for "fan pages" which cannot be hidden currently. FB really needs to make their privacy stuff easier to use....
I'm not on Facebook, but what are you putting on there that makes you so worried? If it's something embarrassing, then it's probably a good idea not to put it on there in the first place. Take down your pantless photos and heil Hitler comments.
