as soon as i saw the LB coming from behind, i knew charles was going to fumble. it didn't even phase me when i saw the ball come out. twice he has fumbled at the 2 this year b/c he refuses to protect the ball or be aware that someone might actually be behind him and b/c our coaches refuse to make him wrap it up with both hands as he's going in. at this point i don't ever wanna see him with another goal line carry.

 

Charles sux so much it's not funny anymore.

 

If OU wins, this will be marked as the turning point for the whole game.

Well the only real f-k ups on offense have been on charles...you can't fault Greg Davis today I thought he has called an excellent game which was not expected.

 

jamaal can't even limit his devastating hand problems to the running game anymore. turns a 15 yard gain into the game-ending pick for ou.

He had an open man and hit him on hte hands, you can't fault him for that.

 

i think we've run more seam routes (or whatever the routes were to finley) today than in about the previous 7 ou games combined. at least 2 to sweed and 4 to finley. and they've picked up huge yardage. we've had only one sideways pass (and i felt a little bit of my soul die when we threw it) and we've had misdirection in the running game that has opened up holes that our line just isn't going to create on it's own. it's been a very well called game, easily davis' best ou game (though that isn't saying much).

if jamaal doesn't fumble on the 2 and essentially fumble a catch into an INT, we might be winning this game. although it was obvious on the last drive that our D is shot (no pressure, no penetration whatsoever) and we might've had to score every possession just to stay even.

 

He threw the ball back across his body BEHIND a guy who had to leap and stretch backwards and he has questionable hands.

It is like a PG trying to hit Deke on a cut down the lane....just got to be smarter than that and take the easy 7 yards with a run.
