Listening to TripleJ this morning (the national publicly funded youth/alternative radio station in Australia), the Breakfast show with Adam and Will and they invite callers to call in and talk about Valentines Day ideas and if they had any questions then they would give the callers some advice..... first few callers were the normal sort of thing... some guy wanting to know if should do anything with girl who liked but they hadn't yet been on a serious... and then a few others silly but normal comments/questions... then Stephanie called in... and explained she had recently broken up with her boyfriend and explained what they did for Valentine's Day last year... the two them both felt Valentine's day was just a commercial thing for Florists and card makers to make money... nevertheless they both still wanted to do something for Valentine's Day.... now this is the killer... they decided it should be their 'Special Place day' to have sex..... (i will let you work what she meant by place???) she also went on to say all their male friends they knew thought it was a great thing to do whereas all their female friends were disgusted..... all this time the two hosts were just dumbfounded and couldn't stop laughing... the last hour of the show was a struggle for them to talk....
I should never have paid for my grandmother's airline ticket. I totally misunderstood what she meant when she said she couldn't wait to get " down under."
