Hi guys. I wanted to offer a different angle for the GARM: Laramie, Jim Okay, not a point guard, but he has executive experience and has been a CFO. respek! (even though it's in Canada). I know Maury has some open front-office positions so what if we added Laramie, Jim to the Rockets' payroll? He would probably cost a lot, being a later career guy, and we would probably end up with Laramie-only fans, and Laramie-only haters, but there's something about the name... not sure what it is... can't quite pin it down... but it just sounds good. Also, not sure if he's left handed or not, so that might be a factor.
I think you mean Zim. But on a serious note, there's another Canadian staff-person with a strong name for us. And he has done sports photography, so we could definitely add him to our PR staff.
Why go to the Frozen North when we can cross the Pond for the GREAT JEREMY LINskell http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=29840510&locale=en_US&trk=tyah2
This is not the D&D forum, so we should probably avoid ad homiLin attacks. That said, you are probably correct. But I was trying to offer something a little different to the GARM, since it seems to have become jery repetitive. Also, good point, DREAMsTeam. Thank you for that.
I believe Golden State was gonna be first to bring him in, possible apprenticeship. Since they have their positions filled though, then maybe after Houston will bring him in for a little look ... might have some interest from New York as well, depending how it turns out in those places.
Stein tweeted something about a 50/50 chance between us and the Raptors, but then he deleted it. Laramie himself doesn't seem to have a twitter account, and that may hurt him in Morrey's eyes. Hmmm.
Yes that can be a knock on him. Though the owner can see how Jim has presence in an OUTSIDE-the-U.S. market, maybe a consideration to work that to his benefit
Well, his addition might help get profits to a point where we can afford to pay the luxury tax. That would be nice. Four max players.
