What's funnier is how absurd and complicated things have become. I'll illustrate with a quick confessional. I got a thing for this girl who spins/DJ's at a club I frequent. I met her once during a night my friend celebrated her birthday at said club. Well the girl is unbelievably cute with impeccable music tastes. She has that whole Roger Vandim "..and god created woman." look thus making her a bit of a hipster. Instead of going with the traditional startegy/courtship route, I'm taking her best friend, who happens to be a gay male, out for sushi. The logic is since she's a "hipster" it would better serve me to have the gay best friend on my side. It's silly that I have to go on a man date in order to score a real date.
hmmmmm.... NO. I should clarify that my friend is going along since she's good friends with the gay best friend.
Que es un hipster? a hippie? But yeah, that is alot of trouble to go through. She might be worth it though, you never know.
Just an observation... It appears to me that many guys really don't like women very much. Seems like a lot of guys WANT women for sex and other things they consider typically female, but they would prefer to spend most of their time with other men. These guys just tolerate women for the sex and cooking. Judging from the way advertising and films are skewed, it would appear many women feel the same way - they prefer the company of women, but they need guys to fix things and make babies. It's a miracle the species has survived this long.
I won't lie. That's absolutely my approach right now. Like this one chick I went on a date with 2 days ago. I would have gone to bone her straight up on the first date, but she was on her period. I'm a freak, so that wouldn't bother me, but it bothers girls apparently (yada, yada, yada). Therefore, I'm aiming to bone her by the third date or so because I've had a layoff of 8 months. 8 months, of course, is far too long. Then again, I'm 21, so who cares right now?
Hipster/Scenester f*cking all the same. Here's a funny parody on the subculture to give you an idea. She's not in any shape or form like these twits. Of course wouldn't know coz all she's said to me was "thanks! I'm here very saturday." when I complimented her on her set. <object width="475" height="300"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kAO4EVMlpwM"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kAO4EVMlpwM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Here's what I find interesting. It reminds me of relatives I've had who were racist until someone was in the room who wasn't white. Then, all of a sudden, they are super polite and friendly. Guys do that SO often. And, I'm not talking about normal locker room talk about hot girls, etc. Women do the same thing. What I mean is the strategy that is put together on how to "bone" (charming) women as quickly as possible and move on. I find that to be incredibly deceptive - as deceptive as women who think that if they give sex to a guy, it will force them into a relationship. It's bizarre.
There's no point. Some might need it. In the end, I realized "hey, I've still got game even with a layoff enough to get laid". Not to mention, I'm a college student. How many college students have the money to just blow on hookers, lol. This chick I've got a good feeling about.
That's a good point too. As for your last point, I think that's what she's hoping to do. Get me in a relationship by having sex. Now I was surprised when I met this chick, but now there's the possibility for a relationship. It's just, I'm not interested in that off hand. It's a wait and see approach for the time being.
It happens, but it is not as rampant as the reports on it would suggest. It's just such a shocking thing that it gets more press and discussion than it probably warrants. Only a tiny percentage of women would actually do something like this. It's just a scary thing to consider.
Of course not. Why should I care either way? No skin off my back. The single life was great for me while it lasted. I enjoyed every moment of it. But, I eventually got to a point in my life where I started thinking less about getting laid and more about finding the one person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with and have 20 kids with. I think it's smart to wait until your 30's to get married. I was not ready to be married in my 20's. Who knows how my life would be different right now if I hadn't waited until now and had got married in my 20's, had kids and then got divorced. Not saying it won't work if you do (so please don't flame me), just saying IN MY CASE waiting this long was a good idea. I have no doubts that I'm doing the right thing. If I was 24, I probably wouldn't be able to say that.
No biggie I just like people. . .I like women I don't think I am the Settling type however, I am not in the clubs every night trying to get laid either [Too much pride to be the OLD MAN IN THE CLUB] It is not so unlike those that don't want to have kids I always wanted Kids. . . . a wife. . not so much Kids connect you to immortality and they are just great to have around and raise and mold Wives. . . that is a different story Could be good. . . ENJOY LIFE and Don't hurt anyone in the Process. . . or as few people as possible
