Maybe Yao is just too tired or just doesn't have the mental make up to be a dominate NBA center. Either way, it is not Ewing's fault. Maybe if Yao was allowed to stay here in the off season for some real one on one training things would be better.

Damn, what regression are you guys talking about??????

Yao has increased his scoring average by almost 2 full points, has increased his rebounding average by almost a full board, and his blocks per game are the same as last year at 1.8 a game.

Bearing in mind, this is all done while we have added a scorer and competent rebounder in Jim Jackson, and Mo Taylor is also getting his share of points and even some boards. Kelvin Cato is having a great year on the glass too.

But here we are talking about Yao's game going to hell in a handbasket because he's had a few tough games recently?

Honestly the guy is not a smart person, "we should get paid alot, because we spend alot"; is one of the more boneheaded things in recent memory. Let's be honest, I don't think that he's responsible for the lapse in Yao's performance however, someone posted that he's tired, and he is he definitely is. Ewing however is just a non-factor doesn't contribute doesn't take away from us either. He is also a yes-man, I don't like the idea of Vangundy reshaping this team in the mold of the Knicks, really, it's gotta stop. Just as suspected, he hasn't been any better than Rudy either. We don't lose to the bad teams anymore, but we don't beat the good ones anymore either.

    Fire Ewing.

I think we should hire Steve Stipanovich as Yao's new coach. If hes not available, definitely go with Brad Lohaus.
