MadMax, Just wanted to include that Islam is not a book of rules per se either. It does INCLUDE all the rules, but it's much much more than that. I like to think it includes all the things you mentioned about the Bible, but unfortunately, that's not the way it's been portrayed by the general public.
again, if you know the meaning of life then what is it? If you're gonna say that you are omniscient then you should be able to back it up. if you're so 100% sure of everything then what are you doing wasting your time here? shouldn't you be an imam sharing your wisdom and knowledge with the rest of the world instead of worrying about drug tests? i'm having no trouble searching for answers because i'm not looking for any. Whether or not there is a god, I really don't care. I'm not gonna live my life in fear of what happens when i die. You can believe whatever you want as long as you don't try to force your beliefs and morality onto my life.
Hey, I never tried to force anything on you. Let's make that completely clear here. You can live life the way you want it, and that includes listening to what I have to say on a message board or not. If you feel that you don't need answers, that's good for you. I need to know - it's a personality trait, what else can I say? I don't want to be an Imam. Imam's are for reciting prayer, and since they have the Qura'an memorized and broken down to them by certain schools, they know the specifics of everything in Islam. Their purpose is mainly to recite prayer, and secondly to inform. Regardless, you're saying that just because I know these answers that I should become an Imam? So just because someone is a car expert they should become a mechanic? I choose to live my life this way, but acknowledge that it's wrong and needs to be adressed. I have time to spare, which is why I like to post on message boards. If you consider it wasting time, then why are YOu doing it? Oh, and not that it's any of your damn business WHO the drug test is for (and I specifically made the person anonymous, you know that), but it's not for me, it's for someone that I'm worried about. Like I said. You don't care, and that's fine. But if there is a God and he knows who put in the work and who tried to live life the way he (God) wanted it, I'd liek to be in MY shoes right now. Oh, and if there's no logic, then there's no difference between me and you is there?
