    I'm looking south from my office dtown towards the Med Center.

    It is looking bad. I think I'll wait the traffic out here...

    Just saw a huge lightning strike nail something in Montrose.

    Something there just got raped.

    yahhh, i just got back from taiwan less than a week ago and sugar land gets rains like everyday... what is up?

    Funny, all the lightning is making my little battery powered radio freak out every few seconds.

    What's scary is that I saw a SW Airline flight actually heading to Hoby a little while ago. Those guys just don't give a damn.

    I laughed menacingly while I drove through the flooded streets!

    Yeah we're getting pounded right now in West Houston. I just heard on the news that three storms merged in this area and that we should expect rain for a couple more hours.

    I don't know about that. I'm almost positive, however, lightning won't affect the plane - least it's not gonna make 'em crash if they get struck.

    Well, the wind/rain sure don't make it too safe.

    I've had the misfortune of being on 2 SWA flights that have landed in tstorms before. Scary.

    Those guys just don't divert...
