I think European's have gotten significantly better at defense over the last 2 or 3 years. We're starting to see some guys come over that have got some defensive assets (see Kirilenko and Welsch). They're still below the skills that are taught in the US, but I would imagine them to be significantly better than what is stressed in Asia.
