Mistake me if I'm wrong...but isn't he still making more than he would have been in America...the dollar is still much lower...and the Euro and USD fluctuate all the time...

I always wondered why the Euro was so strong when combined they have more debt than we do. I understood the English pound doing so well, but never could understand the Euro. DD
Maybe Childress specified that he'd be paid in dollars at the currency exchange rate at the time of the signing of the contract. At least that's what I'd do if I were him.
I think it's the time where Europe is going to feel some of the pain from the economic slow down. It happend to economies all over the world it seems, except places like Saudi Arabia for given reasons.... The US felt the slowdown already, and the economy and Dollar value seems to be on the rise. The Euro is starting to feel the pinch.
