22 (19) Rockets 7-11 At Van Gundy's request, T-Mac is vowing to be more aggressive. The real problem in Houston: JVG is hesitant to ask the same from a passive Yao, who also looks tired already.

At least we're still better than the Bobcats...

    Just what we deserve. 22nd.

We're playing like crap and our team is filled w/ crappy players (except for T-Mac). Yao needs to step up and be 7'6 instead of 5'10.

    amed/Juugie/Summer Song Giver:

What motivates your hate against Yao Ming? Are you even a Rockets fan? No matter what the expectations were, Yao Ming is a top 5 center, no doubt about it, even though he could do better.

So why the hate? What is the reason?

    I find it suspicious.

He quoted amed's words, making our ignore function useless.
So I guess he had to say "sorry" to us fellow posters :D

Juggie is at least a reasonable hater. The other two are beyond bitterness.

Can't speak for the amed or juugie but to me Yao is no more than a gimmick and his liabilities at least equal anything positive he does on the court making him a wash at best on most nights. I can see in Yao what all of you fail to see and that is a player like him is to easily taken advantage of to ever WIN in this league. I cheer for him when I am at the games and want him to do well but that does not mean that I have any hopes for him as a leader or dominant player because these are things which I do not think he is capable. He seems like a good person but that is not going to put me and half of Houston on Richmond Ave partying our asses off like past Rocket teams have. On the record Yao Ming needs to go or because I am not prepared to spend five more years waiting on another player's potential when frankly I don't see the intangibles there anyway.

and furthermore, the second that Les pays that guy the MAX you can mark down 15 more years of suffering through bad ball and the same crap we all b**** at him about now. there is a reason we are not winning right now and that reason is too much of the teams fate is already in his incapable hands. The second he becomes MAX I will hand in my Rockets fan badge and SSG handle.
