    dude thats kinda awesome!

Yeah go Chase, my homeboy! I would love to see him get drafted by us, but if he gets drafted by fast-paced team like Denver where you can run and fill the lanes, he has a good chance to be very special.

Chase=Brent Barry ver 4.0 (Barry in his prime + better size)

Rockets would be set for the future if they drafted Roy Hibbert.

I'll take Augustin and Griffin, please. Oh, and Clutch invented this years ago.

Yep and Chad Ford even emailed Clutch about saying that it was a genius idea. And then he steals it.

Oh and I'd also like Hibbert. Nice backup to Yao when he goes down. Could also use a bigger point guard. Or just a big sg with playmaking skills.

Lord no. You can get a tall stiff anywhere. We're gonna be at the bottom of the first. Go with a shooter/basketball player with good bball iq and decent height to get off the jumper.

    Brandon Rush

    or

    Shan Foster

    Have you watched Hibbert play?

Shan Foster is a very good player, I have seen way too much of him this season (and will see more in the next two weeks) but do the Rockets need another guard/forward like him?

With what assets we currently have I can't understand where he fits into the holes that we need to fill. A big guy who can play with his back to the basket as well as hit the occasional jumper is good insurance behind Yao and if Deke comes back. His rebounding can use some improvement, but as far as big men that we could actually get at the bottom of the round he is there.

Another plus with Hibbert is that he's a 4 year senior. (yes I know Foster is too :))Look at how good some four year seniors have done with this team... Landry, Brooks, Hayes, Head... all four season college players. There is something to be said for kids who stay in school for the full run, their maturity is something that the one and done's don't have.

Maybe you haven't noticed but a backup center is probably our #1 need.

Hibbert is not an average big stiff. He has great size (7-2) and can block shots. Also, he actually has some shooting touch, and is an 80% free throw shooter. Made a game winning 3 pointer this season when the opposing team left him open.

Georgetown knows how to make a good Center.

Man, I really hope Michael Beasley doesn't go to the T-Wolves or any other Western Conference team. The best case scenario for him is going to the Heat to play with D-Wade. Perfect situation since he'd play out East and wouldn't be asked to be a star right away.

I'd be happy with Brandon Rush or with another swingman who is actually good on D and can shoot.

I don't think Hibbert will be there. He'll already be gone. And I think I'd rather find an established vet to play behind Yao that has face up game unless I can get a guy in the second round and not waste a lot of dollars on him. I'd rather have a 7 footer that can rebound/play D and sits out there at 18 feet on offense hitting the jumper, as a change of pace from Yao to open up the court. Just don't think Hibbert fits the bill. I don't like drafting guys just because they are 7 foot. I think Hibbert will be very average on the next level because his size won't stand out as much, league is full of big lugs, and his skills/quickness are average at best. If the other guys are gone and he's there, then I may want to take a flier on him.

Shan Foster's line from tonight: 16/25 from the field, 9/15 from 3, 42 points. He reminds me of Reggie.
