Tom, San Francisco: Hi Dr. Jack. Which team is the most unlikely to make the playoffs, Rockets, Suns or Lakers?

Dr. Jack Ramsay: The Rockets are not playing well right now, but the Lakes take one step forward and 2 back themselves. I have a gut feeling that the Lakes will find a way to be there. The Suns may be setting. (Ed note: Does he imply we are the most likely to miss playoffs? :( )

yao: How can anyone say stoudemire could be ROY over me? I came to a new culture and surpassed tons of expectations, pressure and scrutiny, all that while getting no time off. Stoud is a stud but he is one dimensional - dunking. He represents what you writers say is wrong with Amer. Ball -too much focus on dunking, then you say he is ROY... isnt that a contradiction?

Dr. Jack Ramsay: Yao was my pick earlier, but he hit the wall before the Stud did. Stoudemire is a great rebounder and an OK scorer around the hoop. Yao can do it all, but he must do it more often. It would help Yao a lot if his teammates would give the ball to him more often, too. (Ed note: Damn another observer!!! :( ) The Stud has been the main reason for the Suns resurgence...Steph and Shawn were there before...that's a factor in ROY too.

    As Clutch might say:

Why should we recycle garbage posted on other sites? Please delete and move along.

I might be wrong, but I think Ramsay is one of the idiots who predicted that Jay Williams would be oh-so-much-better than Yao without ever really have seen Yao Ming play.

Wow...Jack Ramsey says the Rockets won't be in the playoffs...I've been saying that since November...

The Lakers WILL overtake us, count on it...

I don't think this is a garbage. A lot of other threads is much worse than this. This contains some information that we as Rockets fans like to read.

As it's been pointed out oh so many times before all over the web...Dr. Jack is senile. But I pray the old man's right about the Suns setting.

Ramsey's senile and he notices it too. Did anyone see the look on Yao's face after the Chicago game while he was going into the tunnel? He was totally disgusted. Doesn't like to lose or be out of the game.

I saw that too. It must've been hard on Yao. I hope Rudy doesn't pull him out like that in the same situation again.

Guys, get of the Doc's back! Ramsay said "The Suns may be setting", which means he thinks the rocks get into the playoffs and the Suns lose out.

Okay, the statement about Stoudemire being the only difference in the Suns' "resurgence" is totally r****ded. To use that as an edge for Amare over Yao, Ramsay is putting his foot in his mouth. These 2 ROY candidates are on teams with relatively similar records, yet the one Yao is on won only 28 games last year. I don't know how many games Phoenix won last year, but I'm pretty damn sure it was more than that.

You're right. They were 36 and 46, good enough for 10th in the West. We were 11th at 28 and 54.
