6 - Scola, Luis. (2nd round, 27th pick) 17 - Brooks, Aaron. 26 - Carl Landry. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playe...ason=2008&playerRankingType=1&period=1&set=2/
What is awesome about scola is even when he isnt scoring the ball he gives you energy and possessions when he takes charges and grabs/tips rebounds. He will be even more awesome after some time to adjust.
It sicken me seeing Durant at the top spot every time even tho there are other are a lot more deserving.
noah and williams are too high. nothing against them but scola and green are more deserving, just to name some. glad jamario moon got his props.
Durrant is overated. Even Head can score more than 20pts if he's given the chance to make 20 attempts per game.
Its nice to see all three of our rookies play at or a higher position than our first player picked in the draft. ... you have to hand it to Morey. I'm becoming a believer ... but, in More(y), not Les(s).
if landry keeps doing what he's doing, he'll skyrocket up that chart. compare his numbers to Big Baby, and they're better in every way, except with the smaller sample size. It's interesting to watch those two because they have nearly identical roles on their team.
Thank god we didn't go with Big Baby. He plays below the rim. Energy or not thats the last thing we need. Texans could use him at tackle though.
Anybody who can't see how special Durant is must be out of their mind. I don't care if he is shooting 10% from the field, this guy is special. He is 6'10" with the shooting touch of a shooting guard and the wingspan of a center. He can dribble as well as any shooting guard and block shots like big men. Kevin Durant is going to be a top 50 all-time player if he stays healthy throughout his career.
The guy has the size, skill and athleticism to play almost any position on the court, from PG to C. I urge anybody who is dismissing Durant or saying he is overhyped to wait about 3 years before passing such judgment.
