hey something was bugging me the other day when I saw lebron james interviewed about the Silas firing:

he was wearing a Reebok Jersey during the interview, now Lebron as you know has signed the one of the most lucrative endorsement contract ever with nike. Now if the team itself is sponsored by Reebok, isn't there some sort of clause where Lebron himself because of a personal endorsement has to wear nike apparel only? I would imagine nike would do something like this because of the number of times a player of lebron magnitude would be interviewed by the media before and after practice. Anyone know what the legality of a situation like this is?

I do know during Rudy T's resignation press conference he was drinking a particular brand of soda that was a competitor of one of the lakers sponsor and after a commercial break the bottle was still there but this time the label from the bottle was removed. (sorry i cant remember if it was a coke or pepsi bottle)

Reebok is the official maker of jerseys, warm up stuff, and other team gear for the NBA, IE every team's official stuff is made by Reebok. They obviously can't force him to not wear official team stuff. Of course, I'm sure he can't wear a different companies shoes during games, or promote Reebok in commercials or ads.

Do you work for Nike, or something? I am more bothered that every single particle of existence has a price tag and shareholders attached. End rant.
