am i to understand that Terry Tate: Office Linebacker was not nominated for best commercial? the funniest commercial(s) in the history of television was not nominated?

since, despite my abundant tv watching, i do not remember the nike, pbs, or vw ads, i would also choose the Visa one, which was quite funny.

Everybody Loves Raymond should win best comedy, though i must ask wherefore art thou, Scrubs?

brad garrett, the simpsons (though it is faltering, i didn't even know futurama was still producing new episodes), the sopranos, and The Daily Show wrap up the categories i care about.

I agree with Peter Krause for Drama Actor, but I think Curb Your Enthusiasm will get Best Comedy.

Micheal C. Hall (David Fisher) is a fabulous actor, too bad his role last season wasn't very big. I wish he got more recognition. Did you know he's heterosexual in real life? The guy pulls off his role tremendously!!

Hands down, Six Feet Under is the best show ever on television.

If you have a chance, check out Dead Like Me on Showtime. It's kinda Six Feet Under-lite. New episode tonight. reruns on Sundays.

I'd like to see the CYE nominees win their category, but if David doesn't win - I wouldn't mind Shaloub winning.

At least Curb Your Enthusiasm and Alias got some love from the Emmys, but otherwise the nominees look exactly the same. The only difference this year is that The Sopranos is actually elligible. And speaking of which, should Sex and the City get any nods when it only had 8 episodes last season?

I know it never had a chance in hell of being recognized, but Angel(the best show on TV this past year) should've gotten a nomination in at least some categories! I would've settled for fight choreography or makeup or special FX. The WB must be blacklisted or something. Angel, Gilmore Girls, and Smallville were completely ignored.

Also, even though I love 24, it did not deserve a Best Drama Series nod. Alias had a better second season. And why isn't Dennis Haysbert in the Best Supporting Actor category? At this point, he's almost as pivotal to that show as Kiefer Sutherland.
