    The best part was hearing the full orchestra attempting to play "Lose Yourself." Classically bad!

    Brody gave a great speech. Michael Moore let me down big time, but I forget that he's not very eloquent. Man, he was lucky to get that great makeout session with Halle.

    U2 got robbed hardcore. They fudged up this one.

    I'm watching the Rockets game, so I haven't seen everything. Did Michael Moore also make out with Halle Berry? Wow - she's a generous presenter.

    No, it was only Brody who made out with Halle. Moore did succeed in getting most of the audience to boo him.

    This might not be news to anyone, but I couldn't believe it when I heard it. I was watching Bill Maher on HBO last night (that's right), and he said that the reason Roman Polanski wouldn't be at the Oscars to accept his award, is because he would be arrested the moment he steps in this country on account of being convicted of having anal sex with a 13 year old girl back in the 1970's. :eek:

    I think he deserved the best director award, but my god.

    I thought the Peter O'Toole presentation was well done. Meryl Streep calling him insane and his quips during his acceptance were all good. I also enjoyed Brody. I did not see too much of the awards but thought the guy accepting for eminem was dressed appropriately:rolleyes: .
