New White Stripes album! Critically acclaimed! Rolling Stone gave it five stars (out of five)! Ryan "I am a p***y" Adams proclaimed, "It's the greatest rock and roll album ever!" So does it live up to the hype? Yesiree. Album is amazing, front to back. There is no trace of that annoying analog hiss from "White Blood Cells". Or any annoying songs. And Meg White sings...twice. Oh, and the album was recorded on equipment predating 1963. Entirely. It sounds like it was Pro-Tooled to me though, it's so good. If you like any of these following bands: Rolling Stones Black Sabbath Led Zeppelin Burt Bacharach ...you should cop this album. So sweeeet!
They cover a Bacharach song on the album, but they don't really sound much like him. Two word review: PURE ROCK!
