Look at that picture of red and blue coming together in chocolate covered goodness. That's the kind of map I'd like to see.
Not sure it will give him the lead, it will narrow it significantly. If Bush wins, I hope he wins 50% of the vote or more, I just want us to move on with what is next. I think the Dems would have done better to overlook Dean's yelling....he would have been a better challenger, I think too many people jumped on Kerry's bandwagon early thinking that he was the one that could beat Bush. The only way the Repubs win in 2008 is if Colin Powell runs. DD
Checks and balances for our slower readers. A government is said to have an effective system of checks and balances if no one branch of government holds total power, and can be overridden by another.
This election really hurts. As a staunch Kerry supporter, I'm ready to concede the election to Bush. I don't like Bush and I don't like his policies, but I guess he is our commander-in-chief for the next four years, and he will have my support. I tip my hat to our conservatives on this board. I know we have all butted heads this election season. We have called each other names, but it has all been in love of our country. It's time for us to go back to just being Americans. Let's unite as Americans and support President Bush. Until he does something to tick us off again, that is
We'll see what happens in the next 4 years. Im trying to rationalize what good can come of this. Im glad the Democrats do not get stuck with any of the blame should Iraq turn out really really ugly. GWB and the Republicans will now be forced to stabalize Iraq while containing Iran, N. Korea, Israel, and the Middle East.... and do it alone. Like Frosty the Snowman, they better have some magic in that ole' top hat.
