Lebron jumped so high.. but it seems to me he didnt 'hang' on the air for very long... compare to jordan n drexler's hang time....
No doubt LeBron is a high flyer. The camera angle made it look like he was a lot higher than reality. I think top of his head was level with the rim. While impressive, there are some people who can get the rim at teeth level. GOAT, VC, Clyde, DrJ, MJ, Kemp, I'm sure there's more. I wish I could freez the frame with the arrows. LeBron could get higher than that dunk.
Sounds pretty good to me.... An enhanced version of the court to bring in some perspective leads me to the assumption that 11-12 foot. Considering the rim is at 10ft his hand is probably about 1ft...11ft up allows him to put his wrist on the rim.........
i remember the dunk. james white from FT line and under leg, but he missed but damnnnn. i have the clip but not the address but it was sick. but the sickest dunk is this. just sick!!!!
That dunk was nice, but the camera was kind of too far away to really get a good view of the dunk. I'm talking about the sick dunks he did in the McDonald's All-American High School dunk contest. He does one dunk like LeBron's, except from the free throw line, with ease, with the top of his head getting up higher than LeBron's. (He's an inch shorter than LeBron.) I have the video of that dunk contest. I don't know how big it is (it's pretty big I think), but maybe I can do a yousendit link or something when I have time. I really would like to see White improve the rest of his game just enough, just so we can have the pleasure of watching him fly, literally, in the NBA. Last time I saw him play, he didn't have much game outside of athleticism/dunking, so he may be a long shot to make it to the L (though he does have another year to develop at UC.)
Krayyyyyzie. Here's some James White vids I've collected: Take-off from just inside the free throw line, between the legs, flushes it. (From Hoopscentral.net): vid 1 (about 3MB) ESPN highlight clip from E. Carolina vs Cincy (from last season..?). Breakaway dunk where JW gets nearly eye-level with the rim: vid 2 (about 2 MB) 2001 McD's High School Dunk Contest - Highlights: vid 3 (about 13 MB)
Thats actually how its supposed to work. You'll never see a left handed ball player jump of his left leg or a right handed ball player jump off his right leg...Lebron was well in stride and timed it perfectly, thats why he was able to get such wonderful lift.
