Got in the Game: "I was nine years old. But I had my growth spurt at about the ninth grade -- no the tenth grade. I grew six inches. When I started high school, I was about 6-1 and at the end of the year I was 6-7."

Motivation for Playing: "I was tall so the coaches wanted me to try out."

Biggest Influences: "(Portland Trail Blazers forward) Rasheed Wallace and my oldest brother."

Best Part of High School Outside Basketball: "Nothing really because I was at an all-boys high school. So it was just basketball and school."

College Coach Says: "He’s worked hard; he’s very coachable. I’ve just been very pleased with his handling of the situation, and I’m just hoping that his attitude never changes, because right now, he’s just a joy to be around." – Tommy Amaker, former Seton Hall head coach

Current Teammate Says: "I think he's progressing very well. He's shown that he can shoot the ball from the outside. Guys have really been able to see that from him. I think if he can lift weights and get a little stronger, he's going to be a dominant player in this league" -- Walt Williams, Houston Rockets forward

Strong Bones = Big Stats: Griffin recorded the first triple-double in Seton Hall history, totaling 21 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists against Norfolk State.

Best Pro Performance Thus Far: 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting and five rebounds against the Sonics on Nov. 23

Last Word: "It was wild because I got traded on draft night. I was expecting to go to one team, close to home and where I went to college, but then an hour later I was going to another team. It was definitely wild."

His answers are so vague. How did Rasheed Wallace influence his life, were they buddies?
